AKUS 7-pin lock plate is machined to incorporate the hammer-stop, from a solid block of 4140 steel. The hammer and sears are also of 4140 and are machined in such close tolerances that they are fully interchangeable from lock to lock. Precision heat treated for optimum hardness and wear, AKUS shotgun was subjected to 250 proof loads and 15,000 rounds of continuous fire with no failures or even any ign of wear.

AKUS 7-pin lock is jeweled, with niter-blued hammer, pins and triggers, just before it’s the toughest lock ever built doesn’t mean that it can’t also be the most elegant.

AKUS barrels called monoblock barrels are machined from a solid block of 4140 steel like barrel leg and also incorporated by  welding with silver.

AKUS 7-pin sidelock shotguns are available in color casehardened, rust blue finish, hand rubbed oil finish and hand-cut checkering. These make shotgun not only strong but also attractive.
